Default Psi questions

Building an AP1 with darton sleeves BC rods cp pistons. I believe it to be 9:1. My question is how much boost can it handle. I've been doing some research and from my data I came to a conclusion that 16psi is high boost, but for stock cars. Plan on using id1000's and going to use 1052. Using pump gas how much boost can I run on a "high tune?"

Use id2000. Let tuner tune on pump gas and on e85
:-)

I bet you make 500+ on pump and whatever you want on e85. What turbo you running?

Remember bigger the turbo more air it moves at x boost. So x boost is not the magic number to shoot for.

My engine build is similar to that so make sure you use the best wrist pins you can.

As much as your differential, trans, head gasket, and tuner can handle. 16 psi would be a good goal.
