I usually put about a 1 to 4 mixture of water wetter and distilled water. Do not use regular water since it carries minerals and will corrode the ac after time. fill to the top, purge and fill to level off.

First question correct and there is no indicator fill to the top. About 1/2 bottle of water wetter should suffice. Coolant goes in the radiator. If your over flow tank is dry, there may be a leak somewhere. A 50/50 honda mix doesn't need to be flushed for a few years.

Yes it does. You should be able to see fluid at the hole opening. If not, Fill it until you do wuith water watter and distilled h2o. Royal purple makes a producted similar to the redline stuff and works just as well. Most likey the jamoke that owned the car before you didn't use a water preservative and it evaporated after use. It shouldn't have affecte dthe car too much since plenty of people are running non a/c setups. You will def. see more power though.

I'm worried about the aftercooler fluid pump though,

I know its bad for pumps to run dry, hopefully its ok, I have no idea how long it ran that way though
