Default Question about 9lb pulley for comptech

right now i have the stock pulley on my comtech kit.. i did my own custom piping to run an intercooler instead of the aftercooler and I lost a little bit of boost through the piping..
My boost gauge is reading about 5psi... before i did the intercooler piping and it was ran straight into the intake it read 7psi..

My question is.. do u think i can get a 9lb pulley and run it with my setup. without having to mess with fuel and tuning? since i am loseing boost n with the 9lb it would be around 7psi actually.

if not. what else whould i need to get to make it run safely.

thanks
nick

If you think that you will lose 7lbs with the 9lb pulley - than you should be fine just getting on the dyno and tuning with the comptech FPR. I would recommend that you go with 1 step colder plugs and gap a bit tighter.

Let me know what the dyno numbers are. I've considered going with a FMIC but have always thought that the gains with a AC would be better. Good luck.

Have any pics of the FMIC?

I'm confused, your first post says that you have the stock pulley on your comptech supercharger, and now you are saying that you have a 7lb pulley....Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the stock pulley for Comptech was 5.5psi.

You should get like a VAFC or something but you don't NEED it, just maybe should have it.
