The updated banjo bolts? ....That's an absolute. First thing I did before boosting; although mine is an 02 that made the cut to have the updated banjo bolts - I was in there with all intentions to swap them out; pulled one out, saw it was the updated design, put it back, and kept it moving.

I was in the exact same situation and did the exact same thing.

If my memory serves me correctly, the mid 2002 build dates and beyond got the upgrade and I believe mine also made that cut.

are you just supposed to change the bolt or the bolt and the body ?

Just the bolt; it has 4 holes instead of 2 and the head is physically taller. The actual squirter banjo remained unchanged from 00-09.

Be careful not to crossthread them! Kinda awkward angle, plus you're doing on your back in cramped space with dripping oil. Patience rewarded here.

2000 AP1 Vortech supercharged here. I'm running those upgraded banjo bolts. They're a must and I did them before boosting. They're not specifically AP2 squirters as they (the 4 hole bolts) were introduced mid '02 and have been a constant since then. It's cheap insurance so, why not do it before adding boost...
