hey guys, just purchased a ap2 trans off a fellow member. the trans didn't come with a shifter. I have an ap1. my question is does it change from ap1 to ap2 for gear shifter>? can i just swap it over?

It'll swap right over just fine.... You'll just need to change the output flange on the tranny for it to work in your AP1.

Use the search button next time....this has been discussed countless times in other threads. Physically on the outside the only difference is the output flange....internally though the AP2's have carbon synchros vice the brass synchs of the AP1 and the gearing between the two is different.
