Question re: aftermarket MAP sensor
Just a quick note: Whether or not a device such as a sensor is plug and play is surely dependant on your EMS. So if you are asking the question perhaps you should specify which EMS you are asking about.
I can assure you with the AEM EMS it is plug and then play around a whole lot. Others I can't be so sure of.

Ahh well in that case I can't help except to say that mBar is boost.
Ok, I was somewhat wrong about the tables/columns:
1. When viewing "NA Tables" there are 10 columns for low/hi fuel/ignition (going up to .5 mBar).
2. When viewing "Boost Tables" there are 13 columns for low/hi fuel/ignition (going up to 12.0 mBar).
3. When viewing "3Bar Tables" there are 16 columns for low/hi fuel/ignition (going up to 28.0 mBar).
4. When viewing "5Bar Tables" there are 16 columns for low/hi fuel/ignition (going up to 28.0 mBar).

Hmmm, I wonder if an established knowledge base could be considered an advantage of the AEM EMS.
Ooops, wrong thread.

Oh well, the car will get a complete tune soon and until then won't really be driven.
