Thumbs down Questuon about fully building my motor?

I decided to keep my S and now want to fully build my motor and go with a bigger turbo. Right now I have the setup in my sig. I have 8.8:1 CP pistons with stock sleeves.

1. So I want to get my motor sleeved, with forged pistons and rods. What brand to get and what compression? I want to make my motor "bullet proof" or closest to that with 30 psi on race gas.

2. And for turbo, I am thinking GT35R. What do you think?

3. Also, which clutch to go with? I know my current ACT won't hold up.

I am hoping to have on setting on 91 octain at around 14 psi and up to 30 psi on 110+ octain. I'm looking to get setup completed within the next 2-3 months and want to atart ordering parts.

PLEASE HELP

Thanks,
Erik Lemke

Is the Comptech diff really that much of an improvement? Check out Diff Technics Nissan diff conversion.

I would use Different sleeves (darton), Cp pistons are good, Cunningham rods are a good choice. Head work get some stuff done from alaniz, just tell him what setup you want to do and he will guide you in the right direction. www.alaniztechnologies.com

For your Clutch go with An Exedy Clutch, I have that in my car, works wonders.

Get a stonger head gasket, Cometic is a good brand. Also get new head Bolts from ARP Use the H23 kit, and you have to get one extra bolt, and you are good to go sir. That is pretty Bulletproof.

^ what compression, 9:1 or 9.5:1? And is head work needed or are you suggesting it for more hp in mind?

Thanks

If you want to go 30 psi then you best be less than 9:1. Consider 8.5:1 for safety.

Arias makes a good piston. Talk with Earl at Laskey Racing in Anaheim. He uses Benson for sleeves. Cunningham is local also for the rods. Golden Eagle is another source for sleeves down in San Diego.

Headwork is not necessary.

Thanks Sideways. So lets say I have the following engine parts:

1. C.P. 9:1 compression
2. Cunningham Rods
3. Golden Eagle Sleeves
4. SuperTech Spring Retainers
5. Dual Valve Springs
6. ARP Head Studs

With a GT35R and proper tuning with my AEM EMS, what boost could I safely run at on 91 octain and what power to expect?

Also what boost could I run on 116 octain and how much power to expect?

Thanks.
