Default radiator cap failed

My Js Racing radiator cap dump fluid today, has this ever happened to anyone. Is it a symptom of something else in my car, maybe the fluid is too hot. I have aem to stock temp gauge its reading between 3 to 4 bars. I am still on stock radiator.

A leaking headgasket can cause that. I've had a similar issue.

Is the cap dumping fluid out to the atmosphere or is it dumping fluid through the overflow valve into the tank?

If it's dumping it out into the atmosphere through the cap seal then it is obviously th cap.

If it's through the overflow valve into the tank then the system is releasing pressure. Need to find out the source. A blow HG as stated above would do it.

hey thanks Venomous S, it is dumping through the overflow tank. Actually the Cap itself is damage, no longer theres any valve there it broke off. So it is only the cap I think.

talking about shit happened not only did my radiator cap failed my turbo water hoses failed. I had almost 10k miles on this setup, lesson learned never go cheap with hoses especially for turbo. I have none steel breaded for the water lines, they failed I just twisted them they just cracked.
