wow I'm surprise it took the auto industry this long to come out with something like that. They being do this sort of bling for pc's for quite sometime with sata cables, watercool tubes etc.

As far as replacement of OEM, I would only due it if OEM's looks worn or you want the bling factor of different colors. That's just my opinion though. Good luck with whatever route you take.
