Default Raising Fuel Pressure safe?

Just as the title says. I've been reading on the forum and seen that ID1000 max out around 500whp on E85. I'm planning to run a duel pump hanger with two E85 friendly AEM 320lph pumps. I know i'll be limited by my injectors, but I wanted to make around 500whp or a little more.

I just want to know if running a higher base fuel pressure rate will be ok.

Thanks in Advance!!

One AEM 320 is enough for 500whp on E85, I´ve made close to that on a Walbro 255 and we didn´t stop tuning because of the pump.

Injectors love high pressure and small fuel pumps hate it, cleck the flow chart for the 320 and see where it starts to drop.

id1000's are designed so that you can raise the fuel pressure and effectively make them flow more than the 1000cc they are rated at. I've seen them rated as high as 1500cc flow depending on the fuel pressure and the rest of the system which is good for more than 500whp on e85. so to answer your question yes you can raise the fuel pressure safely as long as you don't exceed the rated psi of the fuel pump, if I remember correctly the aem 320's are good to about 80 psi and the saftey valve inside opens around 90 psi but I could be off on those numbers

You guys think One AEM 320lph E85 pump is plenty for about 525whp on E85 with ID1000 injectors then? Because then that would save me Money!!!

The 416/450 e85 pump I think would do a lot better and would make that power on 1000s with no problem

He will need to use a relay and better wiring for these pumps though.

Yeah...that was the problem. I thought about the Walbro 450 pumps, but didn't want to mess with re wiring things. I already have my Walbro 255lph pump wired to the battery with a relay, but I figured i can just buy the New Duel Pump Hanger from SOS when i comes out and 2 AEM 320lph pump and call it a day. SOS should hurry with their duel hangers. They've been lagging!!! At first they said Nov release date....then End of December......Still waiting for them to release it so i can get a discount for being one of the first to order their setup!! !!!
