Default Rashed A.K.A Kane.s2k

Rashed,

I have PM you and left you 3 messages and no answer.

I had my MASTER tech @ the Honda dealership that I work at install the Competiton Stage 3 clutch kit with the flywheel and we cannot engage 1'st gear nor reverse. My tech says that the PP is engage even when it is not suppose to be engaged. For example: When we try to put the car on first gear, the car starts moving without first gear being engaged and you cannot engage 1'st gear fully, Reverse won't even go in. Rashed, I don't know if you have experience this before, but it is happening to me. The kit was just put on and tested and this is what is happening. Please get back to me ASAP, I need this issue resolved.

No offense it was either installed wrong, the clutch wasnt bled right, or operator error.

The clutch was bled man. We are talking about a Honda MAster tech here, not just you and I that know how to screw a couple of bolts.

Kane is probably the most stand-up Vendor on S2Ki. I'm sure he will get back at you and I'm sure he will take care of it if it really is a default product.

I just had the secong gear grind TSB done at my dealership by a MATER technician. In the time that the tranny was down, I had him install a competition stage 3 and a ultralight flywheel. Now that the tranny is back up and the new second gear is on, we are having problems going through the gears {they seem hard to get in to} and it is impossible to put it in reverse. We had to shut off the car and engage it into reverse and than start the car so that we can go in reverse. He bled the clutch line and nothing happen, so now him and I don't know what is wrong. Could it be that he messed up in the transition of putting the new gears and something is wrong in the tranny? or is it the clutch? Please let me know.

You started this post in UTH, this morning. Link

Give him some time...
Also, the problem could be from the TSB or new 2nd gear.

+1 for Kane!!

If it was the tranny, then the gears will not go in when the car is on or when the car is off. We can put in 1st and reverse when the car is off ONLY.

JDM S2000, what do you think it can be than?

the clutch disk it self might be in backwards

in my friends evo mr we did his exedy twin plate clutch. same thing it would go into gears fine when the car was off but as soon as you start it it wouldnt go into gear. so we pulled the tranny again flipped the plates around and everything worked!

true dat, it could be in backwards.

Could be many things. Unfortunately you are going to have to take it out and look, there is no way to fix it at this point
