Default Rear end at 400whp

Hi guys,

I'me getting turbo this week, about 400whp (GT30R @14psi).

I know the OEM rear end won't hold long time (mine has 144'000 miles !),

What are my options ?
- R200 + Inline Pro kit= supa expensive !
- anything else ?

A friend said we could fit building parts on the rear end.
Any clue ?

The car won't drag race, it'll be riding mountains and track about 4 times a month, and driven every weekend !

Thanks for advices !

I think im going to get mine shipped to SOS for their reinforced setup and get my 4.44 gears done at the same time. That and boost limit 1st and 2nd and not crazy shift to 2nd.

Only three real options. None of which are what I consider cheap. Inline Pro r200 conversion, Full Blown 8.8 conversion, or Puddymod stock build. Or you could just pick up a couple of used oems and switch them out when they blow. At 400 with track abuse its probably gonna give out rather quiclky.

Strength wise. 1 Full blown. 2 Inline pro. 3 Puddymod. All three will do the job but for maximum abuse resistance you're not gonna beat the 8.8. In rear diffy's bigger is better. All three of these can and will break, but the 8.8s gonna be the toughest, followed closely by the r200. Puddymods stuff is known to be awesome as well though, but there's only so much strength to be had from the stocker. Its just too undersized.

Just pre-load with the E-brake, thats what I plan on doing............. Hopefully it holds up for a few months.

Basically it's (usually) the shock that does it. Put your fist up against the wall and try and punch through it, now cock back and punch the wall, one will hurt more than the other

Full blown 8.8 gets my vote. Just watch real streets videos of his car launching. He is on slicks picking the front off the ground.

Should be noted, that is not a stock 8.8 though...
