Yeah for what ever reason it seems Dyno figures coming out of Australia are substantially less then typical US based test. Maybe it has something to do with not only the toilets flushing in reverse, but the fuel as well

I wouldn't touch the engine unless there's a reason to. Do a compression test and leak down to verify its health and if it checks out ok, you're good to go.
