What is the record right now for the most rear wheel horsepower on pump gas (93
octane or lower) in an S? Anything goes, but it must use pump gas.

Dyno sheets would be cool.

In the October of last year, there was a guy named Alex Hudspeth who claimed 550whp (or so) on pump gas.. It was a sick ass car. Was the final decision for me to get an S.. because of that one. Go ahead, flame me for liking a "ricer" or whatever.. but that was what finally made me take the dive. (at 16..).

Back on track.. no dyno sheets, but there was like a 5 page spread on it. I still have the issue .

 

Bigpurp has a nice setup with over 500whp on 93 pump gas, which is very impressive.

 

Isnt Sideways in the 500 hp range? Is he on pump gas or no?

 

From the discussion between the Sideways and the SVT GT500 crowd, it seems he is somewhere around 452whp. Of course you can always ask the man himself.

 

Sideways is aroun 450-460whp IIRC.
Rumor has it that those numbers are done through race gas.

No problem, pump gas plus big turbo can get you around 500. Then just throw a 200 shot of nitrous on it, that'll break the record

Not to mention your engine..

There is plenty of power to be made on pump gas. It's all a matter of cooling the charge air.
