just called my local dealer, they are available out of california

 

We always recommend a new pump, but let the customer source it if they want just incase they might have a friend that works at the dealership.

 

Hey Ya, when Jeremy builds the engine at the $3500 price, which I believe thats the price for S2ki members, what all is involved? I thought at that price, it would come with a new oil pump and be completely built up to where all we would have to do is put the head on and go. Is the cost more for it being setup like I describe to where all you have to do is put the head on and its ready? I'm just curious since I'm hoping to have Jeremy build mine this winter.

 

when i sent the engine they told me all they wanted was the bare block, nothing attached at all, Tom told me this is without an oil pump when built and i must reuse mine or buy a new one

 

The oil pump is really installed during a long block assembly.

The short block is generally, just that, the short block. So at the point of just a short block, the pump is not required by us assemble the short block.
