This may be a complete noob question but I'm trying to get my car on the road ASAP as it has been down for a while. Can you use the ARP rod bolts pn# 208-6002 in conjunction with stock rods? Thanks for your help.

 

Just use OEM.

Just use oem rod bolts. Hondapartsunlimited.com.........part number 13204-pcx-003..
It will e half the price of arp, and will work fine. Unless your wanting arps for future mods?

Well I do plan on going turbo shortly down the road but 5-550 hp range

 

OEM have been proven to hold up well beyond 550whp.

 

I was told by more than one reputable tuner, to keep oem rod bolts on oem rods, and stay with ARP on aftermarkets.

 

Factory rod bolts in particular are a problem to evos and DSMs but not on our cars. For that power range at least

 

Our motors were built extremely well. And if you ever upgrade rods down the line later, 9/10 after market rods come with arp's
