So are the Cusco and other racing cages just for bling or show? I was planning on getting one, but I didn't know that they weren't all certified to be used in racing. Shows how little I know about the topic, please enlighten!

im with jdnissanz i was going to get a cusco 6 point cause you need one for the local track to run your car, so could i run it with that or what?

I got the safety21 five point that stays behind the seats mainly to use my Takata harnesses safely. It probably adds some amount of safety and rigidity to the car. I dont plan on running 10's or tracking like a demon so its good enough for me. There arent really any other options for a harness bar that allows you to keep the soft top.

So, what can I get/use for a cage to be able to take my car to new england dragway in new hampshire to run my car?? or can I not.

if you arent building a 10 second s2k and dont plan on going to the drag strip but once, dont buy a cage.

I am currently building my car with the intent of taking it to the track. What would I need to be able to track it? what type of cage.
