Routing for hoses from Heat Exchanger to Aftercooler
So SOS has different hose routes for al1 vs ap2 why is that
Ap2
they want u feeding the top of the exchanger with hot water
Vs ap1
They want u feeding the bottom of the exchanger?
I guess it's all in how the exchanger works the best?

what a difference!!! So glad i did this, intake temps are soooo much better now, and its HARD to heat soak this core! ALOT more water, and the IATs recover SOOO fast afters pulls. love it!
made some brackets to attached to frame, and fits great!

i would see 125 intake temps after 3-4 pulls when it was 40 degrees out side! than only recover to 110-115 while cruising after 10-20 mins with NO WOT.
Now its 50-60 outside, and i don't see anything above 105 after several pulls, than a short 1-2 mins of 60-70mph it gets down to 20-25 degrees above ambient!
I also installed the bosch pump. very impressed, and i did not pay 400 dollars for SOS!!! LOL plus this is a bigger core and holds more water!
love it!
Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I need a water pump for my aftercooler as mine has died - what pumps (make & model) have people got as a replacement for the original SOS one?
