InlinePro turbo kit $4000. AEM EMS engine management $1400. bigger injectors $300. 3mm head gasket $300. few misc other parts. maybe a larger turbo $500, lots of boost. and you're set.
EVEN IF U DONT GO WITH A BIGGER TURBO, JUST WITH THEIR STANDARD TURBO AND A GOOD TUNE THEM CARS (EVO,STI ETC) U WONT HAVE A PROBLEM.

Since the only way you will get in the low 12 second bracket is turbo or, maybe SC (a little harder to do, but possible), I'm moving this to the FI forum.

If you want to run low 12s, supercharger is not going to be your best bet. You can do it, but the turbo is going to give you that huge midrange that the supercharger can not. You can get there with less money with a turbokit. You can get an EMS for 1000 (not 1400) if you get one used. Be prepared to spend 6k total and you'll have your turbo and be running with (and beating a lot of) the big dogs.

If you decided to go this route, keep in mind that you will also need a new clutch setup since the stock one is just going to slip with all that new found power. I found that out the hard way.

thats a little overkill to run 12s

I would get the slightly used inline pro turbo kit thats in the for sale section: $2800
a check valve to keep the MAP sensor from seeing boost : $5?
the ACT HD pressure plate: $350ish
A rising rate adj. FPR (i prefer synchronic): <$200
VAFC2: $200ish

tune it, run 12s, and call it a day. You're now running 12s for under $4k. It will only take a few PSI to get into the 12s, 6psi is probably enough, given that you can run mid 13s with minimal bolt ons....
Sorry but I have to disagree with you.

1) Don't get a used kit if you don't know the guy. It will be a huge headache to pick up the missing parts.

2) Don't get VAFC, get AEM EMS. You say you want to run loe 12's. Support the engine with a good engine management.

3) 6psi won't get you into 12's. Even if it does, it'll probably be 12.9. You need like 10-11 psi to get to 12.1's

So here is my suggestion:

inlinePRO Kit -> 3800
AEM EMS -> $1300 if you get it with the kit from Automotive Speed (not sure if he still has that deal though)
750cc injetors -> $350
Headgasket -> $110
Clutch -> $600

Add install and tune and you are right in the ballpark with $7500. Put it up to like 10-11psi and you'll run low 12's. If you think you won't be able to get a good launch, then put it up to 13-14psi

guys i know this part is a touchy subject but since it just happened to me, i would also consider putting on the R300 diff. now if you roll race, i dont see it being as big of a problem as what i did...drag racing at a very sticky track
