Default S/C anyone else besides Vortech/Comptech?

I have decided to go with a S/C and leave my soon to be S2000 left stock otherwise. I had a Prolex/Vortech in my IS300 which caused the motor to blow (#2 piston went through block) so that still leaves me nervous about another Vortech even though I sort of blame my tuner and the Emange programming. Any other companies I should consider or should I still think about turbo. Looking to pay around $5k and I have a shop for install already.
Thanks

Whatever you do, look into PROPER management. Ie, no piggybacks. A turbo will give you a VERY broad torque curve, but are generally a little more pricey.
Heres a graph of my turbo setup:

Youll never get a torque line out of a Vortech/Comptech style supercharger

Vortech and Comptech have both proven themselves for the most part to be 2 of the best manufacturers making S/C for our cars.

The main difference between S/C and Turbo i would say would be Money, time, and tuning ...
