S/C installed yesterday a few questions
yesterday i picked up my comptech s/c from a shop, the car runs great im making 284.2 on a dyno dynamics dyno. I drove the car arouund for a few hours and then started the car up later that day and i got a CEL, car still feels the same and im sure its just a tripped CEL maybe from my test pipe or my thermostat (both have tripped the CEL 2 or 3 times). anyways i brought the car to autozone and used their OBD reader and nothing came up, the screen got power but nothing else happened. Is this normal for a stock comptech s/c with no EMS. Any tips would help. thanks
question #2. On the dyno yesterday my a/f ratio at the higher rpm's it gets to about 13/1, even with the FPR almost maxed out. I dont have EMS but i plan on getting an 8# pulley and EMS in a few months, im wondering if i need to monitor this (more dyno testing) to make sure it dosent get any leaner overtime, or are two pulls on a dyno sufficient? i want to be sure everything is safe for the 2,3 months before i go with EMS.I have the stock exhaust still and i was thinking maybe i should throw that back on (while still keeping the test pipe on), rather than my T1R70, which might be leaning me out. any thoughts would help alot. thanks.
