Default S doesn't feel as fast anymore

I'm running a stock Vortech... took a board member for a ride the other day and the S didn't feel as fast to me anymore..but he said it felt fast.Am i just getting to use to the stock boost...?

My mods: stock vortech, ACT Clutch PP.Gonna add a test pipe next week.

Maybe i need to get new spark plugs..?I've been running this setup for about a year now.

Any thoughts/suggestions...

Peace
David

Is the belt tight? Do you have a boost gauge installed? If so what's the max boost reading?

Assuming no mechanical problems that are actually causing power loss, it's probably just the natural phenomenum of getting used to the power. My turbo setup hasn't been done that long but I'm already starting to get used to 400+hp and wanting more

With no boost gauge I would suggest yearly dyno sessions.

A boost gauge install is very simple and straight forward. Just tap one of you vac lines with the supplied "T" and wire power to the gauge (12v, ground, and illumination, which can all be taken from the spare slots under the dash next to the fuse box). I have a cheap $99.00 defi gauge and it matches the stock cluster very well and works good. I just went with an autometer gauge pod for the pillar as I only have two gauges and they are easy to read there.

I suggest getting one with a memory. The last thing you can do is focus on the gauge while at redline and shifting. They don't make mine anymore but you get the idea.

The only other gauge of any value is this Autometer one.

Make sure you get the optional BS light.
