We confirmed it with another gauge.

Granted you were on a Mustang Dyno, but your numbers are still low. Something isn't right with your setup.

I think so too. I was expecting a lot more.

My setup consist of the following:

Kraftwerks highboost you tune it
SOS 3 bar Map sensor
RC 750cc injectors
Alaniz Ported and Polished head
Js Racing Header
70mm test pipe
Greddy TiC Exhaust
Snow Performance Water/Meth injection with Safe Injection (50/50)

Maybe the dyno has calibration problem?

Another member on the forum just dynoed his Greddy turbo running at 12psi and water/meth and he dynoed at 240whp on the same dyno.

if you are on stock pulley size and your psi is higher, something in your system is hurting the efficiency.

If your using the 100mm pulley then at 9000 rpms you are spinning the blower 11-12% over the limit.
That amount of overspin should put you somewhere around 12-12.5 psi.

Since you have a ported head and a full exhaust... I dont know why you are seeing over 12psi......
I agree with Soul Coughing...... something is wrong....

Juntuned is spinning his blower 13% over with a ported head only making 12psi and making 406whp

Something is definitely up, but I cannot figure it out. From the intake, charger, head, combustion chamber, header, test pipe, exhaust, everything should be very efficient already.

Any idea guys?

the head is my guess. check things associated with that first. cam gear timing, valve lash, whatnots. everything else would point to lower boost, so i think somethings up with the head. worst case throw a stocker head back on and see whats up.

According to Kraftwerks it was expected the ap1 kits would make a higher PSI not because of the higher redline but because its a 2.0 vs a 2.2. We are yet to confirm if the ap1 kits are using 100mm pulley. I would say they are most defilty NOT using a 100mm pulley. Just like the Vortec's there is a difference in pully size when comparing ap1 vs ap2 kits.

Its also highly unlikely that kraftwerks would allow a 12% overspin out of the box.

It seems like you've dynoed on a heartbreaker dyno. IF the greddy car is doing 240whp and your doing 307whp. You should expect about 315 from a greddy @ that psi. Thats 75whp variance from what others have done on different dynos and that would put your AP1 @ roughly 380whp which is more reasonable for your mods.

If your car feels really strong it probably is. So enjoy it and get it dynoed elsewhere and report back. If it feels weak then you probably have an issue.

I think one reason why I might have a higher boost number is due to my higher compression. My engine is the JDM spec motor with the higher 11.7cr.

The car feels very good and pull pretty hard. It doesn't feel weak at all. It might just have been the dyno. They were comparing the graph of a Vortech s2k running at 12psi with mine. I make more power and torque throughout the powerband except for the very end where the Vortech hit 320whp at redline.

I will be going to another local place to get dyno'ed on a different dyno application, if you want to go with me. I want to see how off, RG's calibration is.

Who's 12psi vortech s2k dyno plot did u use to compare?
