Default s2000 capabilities?

*looked through the sticky's and couldn't find these answers*

alright so im considering selling or trading my 04 sti to get an s2000.
i've worked with subarus for years and know them inside and out.. it seems that its about time for me to learn about s2000's.
I know im gonna go with a supercharger although i know very little about those as well
but my questions are:
1.where is the weakness in the s2000 (re-phrased: what brakes first on average)?
2.running the comptech supercharger (which is what i ultimately think ill be going with) what kind of 1/4 mile times will i see in comparison to boost? (i know thats a vague question due to other supporting mods, etc. but toss me a few estimations.)
3.who knows where the best deals on s2k s/c's are? (a bit off my topic but i figured id throw it in)

1. Differential if you drive hard, btw brake is what stops a car
2. Avg comptech 1/4 is low to mid 13's on stock boost. What do you mean by "comparison to boost..." a SC is boost....?
3. idk anything about sc prices anymore

i think he is asking something like:

6psi ~ 13.5 quarter mile
8psi ~ 13.2 quarter mile
10psi ~ 12.8 quarter mile

(these numbers are made up for the purpose of this example)

Don't worry, though...the brakes don't tend to break. They brake just fine, too.

The best deals can be found in the classifieds. There are a number of superchargers for sale at the moment.

Generally the rotor brakes first on average.

It really sounds like yo uare looking for a 1/4 mile car considering the questions you are asking and the vechicle you are changing from, and I'm sorry to say this wouldn't be the car for you.

You would save thoursands putting 10k dollars into a 2k dollar civic if you want a faster quarter time.

thanks for the feedback im considernig trading my sti for BlitZs2000's s2000 with his gt30r turbo kit. so with a beefed up dif, headgasket, and other obvious supporting mods im understanding that 11's are easily achieved. thanks guys.

I wouldn't say easily, you also have to be a good driver which at least half of s2k drivers arn't as this isn't your typical drag car.
