^ since its obvious that you are looking for a drag car the sti being awd is a much better choice. Much easier and cheaper to get into the 10's with. 40-150mph is another story

I don't think he meant anything about the brakes on an S2k... he meant what breaks first, as in the car's weakest point.

The diff is the weakest part of the driveline, and probably the axles after that. As long as you don't launch the car, you should be fine with stock driveline.

Go with the S2k - Sti's are weak

^ thank you.
the s2k is the almighty.
Its the best all around car built. (for the money)
FI is amazing and brngs the weak part of the car up= hp, tq. But it still isn't going to get into breakneck quarter mile speed and still be driven daily like an awd car can. There are many 1000awhp 4g63's that can be driven daily. I still think you should look elsewhere.

Well it is an automotive forum so specifying the difference between brake and break is fairly important

To be honest with ya. If i had the chance to get an STI and keep my S2000..............I'd do it. You already have a power house car my friend. Keep it. Build it up more.

Dont get me wrong.. I LOVEEEEEEEE my s2000, but if i could just leave it alone, and just soop up an STI, I'd do it.

The only reason why i would go FI on my car is cuz i dont have another car to FI......or worth FI'ing.
