Your original car didnt look that bad from the accident. Why didnt you just rebuild it?

good luck on the build, good to see you came back in the game with another one i did it with two rsx's but couldnt do it with a third one so i ended up here lol.

I'm wondering the same, I'm currently doing a wire tuck and would like to fill all the holes with that instead of welding(dont have welder)

Looks like seam sealer, though unless it's welded I don't know how well that is going to hold up without cracking the paint on top of it...
