Car fired up on Sunday.

Although after my fuel rail debacle she is back on bench until the rail arrives this weekend.

After that, it's catch can and some cosmetic things and I'm back up and running.

I'll get some pics once the motor work is more finalized.

I think that screen on your turbo vs. a filter will lead to slower spool..Artisan had a good writeup about it..

I got a velocity stack and a dryflow filter, I am going to see if it makes a difference on the dyno

awesome man! we are right on track to getting ours back and running, well for me, the second time this year haha..

btw, can you access the fuel pump wires from the trunk without taking the rear deck covers off? i might just opt to tap into the fuel pump relay power wire off the fuse box and run the relay behind the seat, through a grommet in the floor and to the 044 pump..

It didn't affect my 30r?

Same setup there.

I'll see how it goes..something to look for.

Thanks.

Tech, to answer your question, you sure can get to those wires w/o pulling the rear deck...only time you need to go through that hassle is when you pull the pump.

Couple more pics.

Catch can is done...I'm pretty happy w/how it turned out..however the paint job could have been better, I'll put that on the list to fix sometime before the first show.

I had to brighten the pics in PS, so I hope they are ok.

The other 2 pics are where the car is now. I'm waiting on one mroe part, that is supposed to show up on tuesday, well see...it's not a deal breaker, but I'd like to have it regardless.

Headlights, front bumper and button it up.

Well Wednesday is the big day...I'm ready..

My only concern is the turbo is "bad". For some reason I have this feeling it's not sounding the way it should be...

I've checked it all over and am ready..if it's the turbo, I guess I'll have to figure that out when it comes...I'll post more on Wednesday, apt starts @ 10:00am.

Wish me luck, the turbo and the motor stay together.
