No, and yes.

Without wanting to be rude I suggest you do a whole lot of research here first and then come back with your questions. All your questions have been answered ad infinitum and you may even realise why a header is not such a good idea.

A header is for NA motors. To run a turbo you have to have a turbo manifold, which will be either tubular or log style manifold.

Theres a lot of things you have to learn before you jump into going turbo. First is your budget, this game can get very expensive. Next figure how much power are you looking for and what your going to need to get that power.

The search button will help you find many answers to your questions.
Some people will flame you if you ask questions that have been answered a million times before. For you it may be the first time because you don't have any experience but for some of us who read these threads every day it can get tiresome. But in the most part people will be helpful.

I would read as many theads on the different setups out there from Inlinepro, fullrace, lovefab etc and see whats been successful and what has had problems. Then you'll have a better understanding of what your getting into and how to ask a more specific question that we can help you with better.

Good luck

If you want to get into FI you have to expect to replace parts and realize you have a greater chance of things breaking. Research on this board and all your questions will be answered.

Well, one does not HAVE to drop 10k+... If you are looking for serious power, then yes. But for something mild like a Greddy kit where gains are around 100rwhp max, you are looking for somewhere in the vicinity of 6-7K. As long as the tune is good you shouldn't break things that quickly. Now you might not get 200K miles out of your motor with that setup before needing a rebuild.

good point. I will have spent over $10k but I am going for 500-550whp, still dont mod it unless you can afford to BREAK it.

I agree. I will be on the lookout for a spare rear end this summer once I am turbo'd. Maybe send it out to puddydad or something to have it built.
