Default Safe to drive without boost gauge?

Finishing the install of my turbo kit tonite but I do not have a boost gauge. Is it safe to drive without monitoring it? I have the 5.5psi wastegate spring in.

I'm not too sure if I would trust not seeing boost. If you must drive it, I'd stay below 6000 rpm until you get the boost gauge.

No problem. Just don't want to see you make a mistake and blow that engine.
