Default SCE copper headgaskets

As title states just picked on of these up. For those wondering, it says online that it has both coolant and oil sealing jackets and does not need sealant. When it arrived, it was simply a solid copper headgasket.

I called SCE and they states this is the only one they make and the jackets can be sealed by coating the HG in KW copper coat on both sides prior to install.

Is this suitable for a DD car? Should I go ahead? It is the .80 thous. version

After my experieces with multiple vendor I would use the Inline Pro or Cometic.

My money is still on the Inline Gasket

I blew my IP headgasket the same way the other 20+ s2ki members did. I'm definatrly not going that route again.

So people have had issues trying to seal oil and coolant passages with the sce?
