Sheepey undivided+GTX3076R-0.83ar or Full Race Twin Scroll+GTX3576-1.06ar?(550-650hp)
Hey guys!
I decided to ditch my Custom Vortech Kit consisting of brand new Paxton/Novi 1500 Ti Supercharger and Cusom 8-Rib Set-up for a Turbo Kit.
I will be running a stock bottom with a built head.
I have a Puddy Mod Stage 3 diff.
I currently have brand new:
Now the dilemma I have is what Turbo Kit will fit my RHD?
These are my options:
1. King Performance Stage 1 single scroll T3
2. Trackforged single scroll T3
3. Sheepey single scroll T3 or T4 vband both in and out.
4. Full Blown (with modifcation :-(
5. Full Race Twin Scroll T4
Now I want a very very quick street car, 550-650 with crazy and early spool.
After spending over 200hrs+ reading threads off various websites I have come down to these two options:
Note that my Tuner has said to stay away from Precision and he has never installed a BW EFR Internally Gated Turbo set up.
Which leaves Garrett GTX Series.
1. Best option is Full Race Twin Scroll T4, but unfortunately the smallest turbo is the Garrett GTX3576r with 1.06ar hotside housing.
Will this be to laggy? Not a street friendly set up?
2. Sheepey undivided + GTX3076R with 0.83ar for a more responsive more usable power band.
Lastly I want this to be an exciting car to drive so I DO NOT want a linear power band. I want my neck broken in every gear so my thoughts are a bigger turbo with more lag? then once in boost the world dissapears before me.
Any thoughts? Dyno Graphs or Videos would be most welcomed!
Cheers!

I currently have brand new:
- Haltech ECU
- ID1300's (I can sell these and buy ID1700's if I have to),
- Walbro 450 + direct wired kit.
- I will be using e85 ONLY.

My friend just installed the efr 1.06. with the billet wheel it should be the best of both worlds really.
To put it into some perspective, (mines a track kit) but I'm running a divided .94 ar customized evo x turbine housing. Top end chokes but with you! the FR Mani. billet wheel, coupled to a divided T4. You will hit your goal but idk if having instant spool is what I would call it. His ain't on e85 tho. Maybe there is some extra trq you can tune for on the bottom out of boost, I couldn't elaborate on that tho.

Full race option will be great. It's going to be very difficult to hit 600whp on a gtx30. Now if your happy with 500-550 then you could do a gtx30. But make sure whatever turbo you choose if you go divided mani go uber big on the turbine side or you will choke it out up top. And only go t4 if you choose divided. Built head is nice but not needed.

Hey guys this morning I purchased the Sheepey Kit with a new GTX3076R for better response. I chose 1.01ar so I get more power up top and a slight more lag down bottom which is fine if a built head allows me to rev to 10,000rpm.
Laskey or Inline Pro for the new head?

Thank you so much for sharing this! Such a good read about reaching the pinicle of perforance for the S2000.
The GTX3076R I ordered is a Series 2.
On the Garrett website it says the new designed billet wheel is good for 750hwp!

I believe that's 750 CRANK hp. I think the GTX3076R Gen2 will do 575-600whp where the old Gen1 was 550whp. So it will meet your stated HP goals.

Agreed. My old ptuning gen 1 gtx 3076R made 567whp at 18-19psi and that was it. Gen 2 may get more but like I said before 550whp was at the limit of the rear end and ACT clutch. I think my 11lb flywheel likely helped somewhat to hold power because clutch never slipped. I was not hard on the car at all, it was a weekend cruiser with some highway pulls. I found 550whp plenty of power in a lightweight car like this. I had no trouble pulling a bus length on a C6 Z06 from 60-140mph. Not sure you want more than that IMO...at least not in an S2000 but I'm getting older and granny shifting disease is setting in.
