Default Small Air Filter?

My new setup consists of a Full Blown sidewinder manifold/T4 6262 turbo; there isn't enough space between the turbo inlet and the frame of the car to run a traditional 3" filter. What are you guys running? What do you suggest? At the track, I'll run filter-less for sure, but I'm looking for a street solution (driven a few times a month on the street). I appreciate the responses. TIA

when I used the full blown mani I was able to use a k&n filter. It's about 3-4 inches tall if that and still had plenty of room. I dono if your turbo sits diffrently then mine did though. I was using a gtx35 at the time.

I know they are fugly but you could probably get away with using one of those "Dome" filters like they use with the Greddy kit.

Don't use the dome filter.... It drys up and crumbles, also it could get sucked into your turbo. Your local auto store prob has those short spectre shortie intakes and they work fine.

Maybe Full Blown's design has changed? I only have a few inches between the turbo inlet and the frame of the car (and I'm using the more compact 'e' cover).

I appreciate the responses. I may try to run a 90 degree silicone elbow through the frame (behind the headlight) and run a small section of pipe to locate the filter behind the front bumper.

I was able to get 3.5" aluminum piping through there when I had my SC. Had to cut away some of the metal around the opening, and thinned out the headlight support bracket. Worked fine though... And was pretty easy to do with some sheet metal shears.

You could also try one of those mesh screens. I think Forged sells them.
