Default Smell coming from engine?

Hi,

I purchased a s2k with a comptech supercharger. The last couple of drives, I noticed a faint smell coming from the engine (I think)... kind of like a electrical or clutch burn. Well, I have zero experience with a SC and really need help... is this normal?

thank you.

Some early Comptech kits had fuel hoses to the FMU that would leak vapor, but not liquid fuel. That's why Comptech covered them in heat shrink tubing. The 04 kit should have the upgraded hoses so this shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks ENTHRALLED.

I spoke to the seller and he informed me the transport person burned the clutch while trying to load the car onto the trailer. I drove it again today and it seemed like the smell was gone. Hopefully that was the issue...

Thank you so much.. simply
