Hmm, honestly I did not even think about that.
I tried to give my tuner a call again this afternoon, unfortunately he was not in today. They did though say that he is planning to give me a call Monday. We'll see how that goes!

IMO the point of a SC is to have a low maintainence trouble free solution that is tried and true.
The Novi 2000 demands as much fabrication and customization as a turbo kit. Even some of the turbo kits by comparison are getting quite dialed in. There may also be clearance issues with the hood from the top side.
The Novi 2000 was also meant for large displacement V8s.
The major difference is the Novi1000 flows 850 cfm vs. 1700 cfm for the Novi 2000. The Vortech S-trim flows 1000 cfm. Paxton makes a blower very close to the S-trim called the Novi 1200 that flows 1000 cfm. Ideally, this would be the best choice, however the mount bracket would have to be modified etc etc.

I did a tad bit more researching on sizing:
Paxton NOVI 1000 = 940 CFM
Paxton NOVI 1200 = 1000 CFM
Paxton NOVI 1500 = 1200 CFM
Paxton NOVI 2000 = 1400 CFM
Vortech S-Trim= 1000 CFM
Information was gathered from PaxtonAuto.com & VortechSuperchargers.com.
Off the Paxton website I did read that the NOVI 1200 & 1500 Series use the same bolt pattern for mounting bracket. On Monday I had plans to call Paxton to see whether or not this is the same pattern as the NOVI 1000 & 2000. After reading Asura's post I suppose not.
As well, speaking with a "domestic guy" friend of mine today - he stated that the NOVI 2000 is a blower mostly used for LS1 modified motors. He also stated that some LS1 owners are even having problems getting potential out of that blower - so I definitely do not think I'll be going that route.

- I was hoping you wouldn't say that either. Guess we'll have to stick to the NOVI 1000.

I think the "BoostLust" never ends.
