Some more S2000 Testing!
We took to S2000 back out for the local TNT this past wednesday. We ended up noticing that the wheels were moving quite a bit inside the tire the last time we tested so I screw the rims and headed out to see if that help. Well, it did....lol. That and the combination of Kurt (track manager at our local track) working his ass off to provide a great track for us helped a ton.
I only made 2 passes. First pass, dump the clutch and the car just came up. As I passed the tree with the front end still climbing I decided it was a pretty good time to lift (wasn't really expecting it...lol). So I did, short shifted the next 3 gears and went 9.0 at 160. Mike, the guy who does my chassis/suspension stuff showed up and made a few tweaks to the shocks and we went back up and it left great and went a 8.5 at 165. So we just called it a day. It's crazy the performance we are getting out of this thing. We are still at only 30psi of boost, and have a decent amount of short track time to gain as well as we run more, then we can pour A LOT more power to it down track. I'm so excited to see how this year is going to unfold for us.
