Default SOS Novi out to aftercooler inlet boost leak

The surface area available on the Novi volute outlet and the SOS aftercooler inlet is pretty narrow and am getting some boost leak because of it. I'm currently running the HPS 4-ply silicone couplers which are pretty thick and bulky. When clamping down on the coupler, I feel the coupler is getting bunched up and the clamp isn't applying enough force. The leak is very minor, but I hear it when doing a boost-leak test.

I've tried using a T-bolt clamp; but found those to be too wide
The SOS worm clamps are very narrow in comparison and do a good job sealing, but still not 100%
I am now running the Murray Turbosmart clamps which have two clamping locations for a better seal.

I'm thinking of ditching the super-duty HPS silicone couplers and getting one that's less robust; hoping it's more pliable and can give a better clamp.

Interested in hearing what others have experienced.

Thanks!

I also need to swap this hose out due to a minor crack on the outside, I have no idea how it got there

Arax, I used silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps from siliconeintakes.com. The couplers were pretty long so I measured and cut them to fit. I can't remember how many ply they were, but they were pliable and held fine for me. They are cheap too!

Have you tried using hair spray on inside of the coupler? Clean out the coupler really good, spray some hairspray, and let it dry overnight.

Take the aftercooler and blower volute to your fabricator. have his weld a lip on the inlet of the aftercooler and outlet of the blower. I think I am using normal worm gear clamps with no issues...

My main problem was the aftercooler getting blown off.
