Default SOS Stage 1 dynod

so i went up to Sublime Performance in Omaha, NE to get some dyno runs. with all them mods i have especially the SOS stage 1 i was expecting around 335 340 hp MAX. anyways i do 3 pulls and the best one was 289 rwhp with 187 ft lb. at first i was pissed cause thats no where NEAR the advertised or videos i have seen with this kit on. but then they told me it was only boosting to 5 psi max. so now i have to find where my other ~3.5 psi is going to. i got a video and the print out of the results. will upload later since ive been busy. any thoughts?

do you have the aftercooler with your kit? Usually these kits lay down 300 easy, even on an F20

what kind of dyno, isnt the sos stage 1 kit 5-6psi?

sos dynos are dynapack, they will be slightly higher since wheels are removed to dyno the car.

The 06+ kits are 8.5psi.

I have a compressor we could use. You'll have to run to the hardware store to pick up some stuff though.

Depending on what goes on tomorrow, Mike and I might be able to help you later in the day.

call up Chris @ SOS. Perhaps he can give you some insight. Ask what the PSI should be with your kit. It beats going off of what people "think" you should be running. When in doubt, goto the source for information.
