Default sos stage 1 upgrade

Hello fellow s2ki members, I have a sos stage 1 supercharger. I need more info. on how I can upgrade my kit to their stage 2. I went on their site and they don't have a stage 2 upgrade from stage 1 package option. From what I can tell all I really need is new/better injectors, management ecu, and a different blower? Is there a place where I can exchange my novi 1220SL blower for a novi 1200SL? or am I better off selling my stage 1 and buy the stage 2 kit. I wish they have an option available for us stage 1 guys. If someone can point me to the right direction, much appreciated!!

Your best bet is to get some ID1050x injectors, a new pulley from SOS (and belt), new ecu/ems and then get dyno tuned.. Optionally you can upgrade to the SOS racing heat exchanger

Your current 1220SL is capable of making more power, there is no such thing as a 1200SL (self lubricating) as far as I know -- the 1200 is engine oil fed and not a self contained system like the 1220SL is

For the blower, call Paxton and tell them you want to trade your 1220SL for a 1200 oil-fed head unit. You will need to provide your serial number. Back then, it cost me a little over $800 for the exchange. I would call SOS too to get the parts for the oil return.

No need to do anything to the blower. Just pulley down for more boost and get injectors and an ems.

Yes you will make more power with a 1200, but your talking 400whp vs 450whp average between the two blowers maxed out on pump gas. New blower through sos is the cheapest ive seen at $1700 but that was a few years ago, and may be a little more these days. Trade in through paxton may be the least expensive as mentioned, but ive never gone through that process So couldnt say for sure. I do know they will credit from $500 up to $1000 on trade in depe ding on condition, but they over charge a rediculous amount for thier blowers going through them directly say around $2300 so consider that in the total price with trade in. So you have to decide if that's worth it to you or not. Definetly not necessary.

So basically i can push my 1220sl blower to 9psi on pump gas with the supportings mods as suggested above? I already have a walbro 255lph and the larger HX sos sells. So my list will be-1050x injector, plug n play injector clips, aem v2 management and the corresponding pulley size from sos?

I reccomend skipping AEM V2 and just getting an AEM INFINITY. It's worth the extra few hundred bucks. SOS even has a full plug and play kit for Infinity with included basemap.

Easily. 9psi is nothing. 12psi is pretty standard. 15psi is the range when you start maxing out the blower speed and the fuel quality of pump gets where where tuners aren't comfortable tuning.

This is the email I got from Paxton/Vortech when I wanted to exchange my 1220SL for a 1200. This is back in May 2018.
Ok so the oil fed 1200 unit runs $2,522.99.. with a trade in of a unit that is in good condition you would get a $1000.00 credit toward that price which would make the unit come out to $1522.99 + shipping (and tax if in CA)
My take on this was: Run the 1220SL untill/if it blows, then buy a brand new 1200 directly from SOS at 1657.50$. Also, the blower coming from SOS will be powder coated black, not the one from Paxton (only satin or polished available).

Mine wasn't black when I ordered from SOS. You do have the option depending on what you want.
