SoS Supercharger High Boost Kit for MY06
Yes, seems I can audibly notice vtec @ 4000 rpm. Def makes a little pop, haha. It is just a reflash performed by hondata.
As for the sniffer reading lean, my thought exactly. But ill have to wait till Monday to talk to SOS. I think that's a pretty big diff in afr though. Enough to be concerned and let out untill further info can be found.
If I have to go ems, kpro would be my only choice. My tuner said 400 to tune.
What's the kpro, flash of the stock ecu, harness, and rsx o2 sensor run???
Im trying to prepare myslef for more money required if need be.

ok imma add my install pics.
first thing was taking off the stock belt and my K&N FIPK intake. this took me like an hour because the bolts didnt want to come off. then i had to take off the crankshaft pulley. took me a while as i needed a breaker bar and some help. after like an hour i managed to get it off and install the new one.

Next was to take off the VTEC solenoid and install one of the brackets into it. Again i ran into a few stops as i had trouble trying to put it back together. finally i was able to put it together.

Next obstacle was the water pump. first i couldnt get the bracket that holds the water pump into the water pump. so there went 30 minutes. then another 30 minutes to mount it and make sure it was facing the right direction. Then after that took me around 2 hours to hook the power from the water pump to the cabin. it was a pain to try to get it in there. finally i improvised and managed to get a hole where the harness goes into the cabin on the drivers side. I secured the extra line and hooked it up into the fuse board.

Next was the heat exchanger. This took me a while because i had a hard time making holes into the plastic trim. Since i used a drill to make the holes some plastic was melted on the edges to had to remove it. so then at the end i decided not to use the plastic holes to make it a clean look. i hooked up the hoses and this is what it ended like.

Next was the coolant hose. had to drain the radiator from the bottom. Drained a little over what they suggested. Anyways once that was done i cut the stock coolant hose and attached the new modified one. Once that was done i could refill the radiator and check for leaks. Didnt find any so i went on.

Next challange was the aftercooler. At first i had trouble since it was not lining up into the throttle body. so i had to "clock" the supercharger so it could. again since the s/c was already installed this took me around 1 hour to do. Then it was time to install it. it lined up pretty good.

Next were the injectors which took me around 2 hours. I had to refer to the service manual a couple of times to see how to remove the fuel line and the rail. finally after a few tries i manage to take the rail off and the line. since i left the fuel cap open the morning before (it was afternoon the next day now) there wasnt any major fuel pressure to deal with. i had to put a rag over so fuel didnt spill. so then comes the injectors which were easy to take off but hard to put back on. So then comes the new rc 650cc injectors to install. it took me a while to "snap" the injectors back into the manifold. even with some lubricant they wouldnt go in. only 2 out of the 4 went in good. so i got some rags and put the over the fuel rail and carefully hit it with a wrench so it would go in. after 4 hits it was nicely seated like the other ones. Next thing was that you dont have much room to work with with the spacers. so i when i did this my hand slipped and hit myself a couple of times on the engine bay. so anyways at the end i did it and that was the last thing i needed to finish the install.

Next was to just install the intake and other hose which took like 30 minutes. I checked all clamps and made sure they were tight and good. All i needed now was my ECU back from Hondata. Unlucky for me it was Friday evening so i wouldnt get it until monday at noon. So i took this time to install my front lip and my rear spoiler. I also do an oil change to start with new oil. So moday i couldnt get my ECU until tuesday. so on tuesday i finished by making sure the fuel rail didnt leak. Then i topped off the aftercooler. then i started it. BAM it starts!! I instantly fell in love!! but i had to turn it off and check for leaks. i had a minor leak from the aftercooler return hose. Tightened the clamp more and it went away. so now i start the engine and let it warm up. once thats done i check oil, aftercooler, and coolant. DONE! now i need to reinstall the front bumper. WOW it took me 1 hour to install it and since it was during work i had to wing it and just put the thing on. Since i was in a hurry i mistakenly threw the bolts and screws away. At that moment i didnt care cause the bumper was on. At the end of work i went to the honda dealer and the reinstalled my bumper the way it was and replaced all the missing clips and bolts. Cost was $16 bucks. After that i did a test run and thats when i raced that WS6 which i beat.
Well thats my story.
