Spal fan's initial startup issues.
Well a couple weeks ago installed two spal 12" (model #30101522) with Mishimoto Rad. 1250rmp idle fan comes on, idle drops to
700rpm for a second and back to 1250rmp. If the Idle set ANY lower car will die. I went to my local stereo shop and asked what do all
the high end bomb box stereos do when the bass hits and kills the car. He said the use thicker gauge wire. so I'm considering couple
feet of THICK wires see if that helps. I did install the Spal FRH wire kit, nice relay and 12 gauge wire.
Anyone else have the fans kill engine and try a fix? HELP plz
Autowave said if I did not have AC he could use that signal to raise the rpm for a second while the fans kick on as the AC does now. if I dont want AC I can
use that signal in the AEM-2. so the AC stays. Tonight I see my AMP meter on my "Redline Radar" detector drop with car was running 13.9v to 13.7v
for 1 minute while fan cycled on for 1 minute, then went back to 13.9v

Just set the idle ignition and throttle plate up as I recommended earlier Picture, it'll use a little more fuel when idling but apart from a slight blip when you first turn everything on it'll idle sweet as a nut.
We have twin 16" fans, 400w headlamp pods for night racing, electric power steering pump (which draws up to 50amps alone), plus the rest of the engine systems, high speed wipers, etc, and I can turn every single switch on at once without the engine even attempting to stall, it might dip 50-100rpm just from the initial spike, but then the PID control brings it back up.

I'll forward this info to my shop, see if this help?
NEW info from SEMA show
Spoke with Spal and they directed me to DERALE they are making a fan controller
the hotter it get the faster the fans turn. The display had 2-HD Spal 12" at 100% and only 17.1 amps
the DERALE display was #16795 and hard wired them together 0% to 100% full on when hot
apposed to the fans now spiking on at 25-30amps killing engine or now having my idle at 1300rpm
