Im not sure, but I have heard bad things about the electrodes comming off with iridiun and platinum plugs on boost, how accurate is this? And is such an event dependant on mileage of the plugs for people who have experienced breakage? I wanna go with a iridium or plat plug simply cause the coppers I used are not offered in the heat range I want.

The only thing I have heard is that platinums doesn't work very well with e85. Other than that, no rumors about breaking electrodes have reached me and I have not seen any problems with iridiums yet. Not saying it can't happen tho.

I am about to run my Comptech SC with 9psi pulley and my mechanic has suggested spark plugs whith heat range 9. What do you think? Will they be too cold for this setup and is better to go with heat range 8 like you are using?

Thanks
Chris

ive heard that about platinum plugs but not iridium. i know most people run the bkr 8's on this forum. i do too. my spark use to break apart at 7500+ with mykw sc'er with oem plugs, now with the BKR 8's it revs to 8200 perfectly
