Default spark plugs

im thinking of going the supercharger route and want to know what spark plugs u guys use. on the CT engeneering website they have Spark Plug - DENSO IRIDIUM (IK24)
listed are these any good? and do you guys have any other recomendations? thanks in advance

what diffrence does it make what kind of spark plugs i use? noob question ... what if i used the OEM ones from dealer and not the Ngk bkr8eix or DENSO IRIDIUM (IK24)

Well the NGK ones are 1 or 2 steps colder from memory. Depends on preference at the end of the day I suppose you only know till you try them and see what's works best with your engine. I'm not sure about gapping so I can't comment on that.

Depending on the climate, in Sydney usually it's pretty hot so I went a little colder in the heat range.

(don't know wtf happened the past 2 years weather has been sh!t!)

using too hot of a plug on an FI setup can cause detonation, on the other hand using too cold of a plug for your application will cause them to foul prematurely

A lot of people use the NGK 2668's (bkr8eix) on here , myself included. Seems to work well for the 350 - 450whp range.

I use this same plug. Seems to work well in the 1000+hp range too.

They work fine. We prefer to use NGK BKR7EIX and NGK BKR8EIX.
