i did a burnout in 6th gear at a 132mph. Trust me... Its scary but very exciting at the sametime but just because you have the power doesn't mean your the fastest one around if you can't put that power to good use

Also it lets you learn a lesson about performance... you can only have soo much power but whats important is how much of it actually goes to the ground. There is a thing called too much power and whats the point of a street race if your just gonna spin your tires.... someone who has 300hp will win a race against someone with 600hp. its simple... the one with 300hp wont lose traction and the guy with 600hp will just spin the tires.
6th gear burnout, tha tmust of been a rush! I agree with that, my boy had 'run' with a 04 cobra bolted up he was in a stock 88 lx mustang, he beat him from a dig since he just span and span, then he hooked, then it wasnt funny.

id love to get a ride in a boosted s2k!

it was a hell of a rush but i wasn't having fun LOL. i went back to the shop right away and asked them to turn the boost down. I wanted to feel the force of it in my seat but all i did was ping redline and i didn't go anywhere. but then again... if i did catch traction with that kinda power.. i wouldn't have been surprised if my diff wouldn't have blown from it

Thats BEFORE i had puddymod rebuild it

I never dump the clutch...if I floor it in third at 20mph my tires will still spin when I get around 60mph and 6000rpm from the boost (if they're not warm)...and please for the sake of your drivetrain don't try to spin the tires by dropping the clutch!
