Default Springs & Boost ?

I am looking into dropping the car about an inch or so...tired of it sitting in 4x4 mode..

I'm thinking a softer rear suspension would be better than a stiffer rear?

But if I keep the spring rates similar to what is their stock, I should be ok right?

What is everyone running?

I'm thinking some cheap teins would be nice for the $$.

unlkess the car is gonna be 100% straightline drag car, just do normal springs, maybe even a full coil over setup.

on a purpose built drag car, you would put softer springs int he rear to facilitate wegith transfer. but then the car will not be fun for much else

and x2 on Ya's post rofl. big ass ET streets

Good point, I've thought about that.

@ this point it's 17x7.5's in the front, and 17.8x5's in the rear...so they are typical tires...it's not an all out racer, gets driven on back roads and such...in which case ET streets aren't the best choice..lol.

Although I do the look of them.

well i cant say enough good things about my RA1's. i can floor it in 1st although i dont make 500whp.

i would at least go with star specs at the worst, but personally i would do a R888 or kumho vitcaracer. yeah they are gonna cost you some dough, but being able to use your power is priceless

my low power car couldnt hook till 3rd with falken 265 wide 615's out back. now, with 275 RA1's like i said, 1st hooks

255 615's in the rear.

Hooks on low boost, not to much on high.

Although I've only had it out once on full boost while I had race gas in the tank.

I got a set of Eibach springs that lower the car 1inch. Its nothing too big, but hasn't changed the feel of my car at the limits and doesn't hurt my ground clearance while driving through NYC.

It really helped with the horrible gap i had with my 16inch volks.

Anyone running full coilovers? I have been concerned that the stiffness of my suspension (tein flex) will hurt traction
