Gators2kt, I am aem certified. Pm me and send me your map I can take a look at your calibration for you. There and many things in the Aem software that can do this if set a certain way.

All right so I bought 4 used coil packs and have isolated the problem. The car runs fine when they are cold, as mentioned before. The issue is with the coil pack closest to the firewall. Whenever the car heats up, the coil pack fails. I bought a new one from an auto parts store and have swapped 5 different coils with the same result. Immediately after the swap, the car runs fine for a few minutes and then it starts running like crap again. I have no idea why it's just the 4th coil.

Any ideas?

Another update, whenever I first start the car now the temp gauge in the cluster reads full hot sometimes. The car still runs fine until it actually warms up.

Your problem is my problem. Coil 4, closest to firewall, is heating up and causing the car to misfire. I e also switched out coils and works for a bit then goes out. Also works fine at first startup but goes bad when I try to restart.

My problem has been resolved! Have your tuner check the ecu pinout. My tuner found a wire that was accidentally placed in the wrong spot. Your symptoms are what was happening to me.

Wydget, do you know which wire it was? It's been the same setup for years and just decided to start acting up. Anyway, If you could find out what wire(s) that would be awesome.

I'll check it out tonight. I wasn't them when they were checking the wires. We all know how cramped that space is. If I can't find it, i'll ask my tuner tomorrow. I do remember him saying the pin was in 5 instead of 6. But i'm not sure which wire..

There is a good simple test to check the wide band. But first check the tune. For me it was in low load below 4k Rpms. Also I had to tweak my iat comp tables.
The more I drive the car the more this sounds like my issue. I have no idea why swapping out the coil packs help, but whenever I get passed about 4k it seems to smooth out for the most part. I really need to get a retune. The only problem is there's no tuner in Gainesville and I can't drive the car anywhere. I'll have to budget for a tow to a more tuner friendly city.
