Default Which StandAlone system

Price almost simliar

F con - 1500

EMS - 1200

----------------------------

I always want to know what kind of neat feature that EMS provide?
Alot of big power supra etc.. run the hks f con system. The reason for this is because it has self learning mode. Meaning that your engine will never run lean ever. I was wondering does the EMS provide this type of feature?

When you say self learning mode. Do you mean that it reads off a wideband O2 and adjusts itself accordingly to the correct A/F?

If so, I believe the EMS does this.

yah that's what i mean. Reading the a/f off an o2 sensor that comes with EMS system and add fuel/air to make sure the ratio is at what you want it to be. WOW if this is true, i dont even know which system to get anymore. I was leaning toward the F con because of this reason. But now that i been reading up on it. EMS doesnt sound so bad either.

Don't know much about the F con but the EMS is supposed to be really good.

The only issue I had with it was that the stock water temp wouldn't work without a special controller wired into it seperately. AEM may have that resolved now though.

hmm wth ? let me ask lem and them that ran the lovefab kit if there stock water temp is working fine.

So far right now. I found out that EMS have independent boost feature where u can adjust how many lbs of boost in each gear. Which i think its pertty neat. I wont even need a boost controller unless I want to boost high. EMS sound promising thanx spool for the info

The F Con is usually a bad choice....why? Major lack of tuners around. The F-Con requires a very expensive tool to tune them and very few tuners around can do it properly. This means that tuning on the F-con will be generally more expensive than the AEM(harder to find a tuner and more expensive equipment)

Tech2drew was the only person I know of on S2ki using a FCON. You may want to PM him.
