Default steed speed manifold

Does anyone know off hand if a precision 6262 will fit with this manifold? About to pull the trigger on buying a turbo in a few weeks and wanted to make sure it would fit..... And im unsure of what the whole t3/t4 means. I read that these are the measures of the exhaust side of the turbo, When I measure the bolt holes its roughly 3.5x1.75 and I think that is a t3 measurement. So when I order my turbo I want to specify it being a t3? And should I get it with a v-band or 4 bolt discharge (whats the advantages of either)?

Heres what im thinking.
PT6262
- "S" compressor cover 4.0" inlet/2.5" outlet
- .82 A/R with 3" V-Band discharge

Sry guys im still a turbo noob and just wanna make sure I spend my money right the first time

Steedspeed have the T3 flange, you´ll be fine there. Not sure it will fit since it´s a big turbo and the compressor housing might hit the engine. I tried to mount a Holset HX40 on a Steedspeed manifold but didn´t work.

Is there anyway to find this out without getting my hands on the turbo? I have a spare engine with the manifold just sitting on it right now but I don't know anybody who has one to test it with. Somebody must have used this manifold, if you have what turbo did u use and what numbers did u hit with that turbo?

Largest I've found from searching that manifold is a 35r. Not sure if the 6262 is larger.

I found a FBM top mount for sale instead and sold the Steedspeed to a UK guy, never ran it. If a GT35 fit you can use the PTE, in the worst case you have to grind the compressor housing a few mm but that´s no problem.

You can get a 6262 with a smaller 'E' compressor cover.

A little bit but more on paper than in reality. I´ve used the "compact" housings on Turbonetics a few times and never seen any big differances, they say the air get a bit hotter in the small housings.

Not enough to be noticeable. I made 475whp @ 15psi with a 6262 (E cover) on PTuning's 'hearbreaker' dyno; granted, I had a more efficient manifold, but just wanted to relay a tangible example to illustrate that you will have no problem making power with the smaller cover.

Well I just pulled the trigger on my turbo finally.... precision 6262 .82 a/r with the s compressor housing coming in this week. If it doesn't end up fitting Im just gonna sell my manifold and go with an equal length one. Got a tial 38mm vband wastegate also. Piece by piece its coming together
