Default Still sputtering and missing

So a while ago I posted a thread about how I was sputtering and losing power in my MY2000. It's got a
Benson block with iron sleeves (87.5mm bore)
CP pistons (10:1 CR)
BC rods
BC bearings all around
Moroso oil relocation kit
Garrett GT3076r
AEM 320 pump
512whp
So when I start the car and at idle every few seconds it like misfires. Maybe not a misfire but like a little plewww sound like it blurbs out of the exhaust. And then under power at around 3-5k it like spits and like misses. Then under WOT it's like the car goes from 500whp to 300. And it doesn't sound right but it's not missing or sputtering under wot. It's baffling me and I've already replaced the PnP adapters and spark plugs (copper R5671A-9) I can't figure it out and it's giving me bad mpg and loss of power. If anyone could help it would be appreciated. Thank you.

The car normally under wot will spin tires in 3rd gear and now it barely will in 1st.

I'm guessing you've checked the tune? Sounds like it's something with timing or fuel.

The tune is good. I just saw that on my VTEC solenoid there's a wire frayed and off of some connector that plugs into the block. Could that be the case?

If VTEC isn't engaging properly then that could definitely affect the way your car is operating at WOT. It's probably doing fuel/timing and boost with the assumption that your cam is running the larger VTEC profile, and if it's not then that will greatly impact the way the car runs as it'll throw everything out of balance.

Citation needed on this info as I'm a 22 year old idiot. I'm sure some more experienced users on here will also have input.

I don't think a VTEC solenoid related issue would cause idling problems. Could be wrong though.

Yeah, I considered that as well. Would definitely affect his top end/midrange though.

Since you already know it's a problem that's the first place I'd look.

Could be a number of things, but the intermittent burble/pop at idle isn't that uncommon on an otherwise perfect runner, so I would exclude that and chalk up as a distraction for now as it could likely be unrelated. The vtec not engaging is certainly a good 1st place to start ruling out, given the info described. It fits the symptoms perfectly and the fact that you noticed the wiring issue there as well.

Yea I just don't understand what it could be. My spark plugs are R5671A-9 copper. Gapped to 020 and I just replaced the injector pnp adapters and I can't figure out why it's still doing it. I guess the next step is to run injector cleaner and see if it's the injectors.

Okay I'm going to try and figure the vtec situation out. I'll post a picture later of what I mean and see it's any help.
