stock s2k to be supercharged
hey guys. I need some advice.
I'm new to forced inductions i usually just do bolt ons on my previous cars. I hated Hondas since i crashed my last car and test drove an S2k afterwards and it was perfect.
just fell in love with it the moment i sat in.
I have an 05 s2k all stock for now.
I wanted to go supercharged because evryone that I know who has an s2k has SC or will be going for that.
Is it ok to just go straight to (comptech) SC kit and be driven safely almost DD car.
or should I take it slow and go add bolt ons then tune then save up again for SC later on.
don't hate on my reasoning =).

is it ok to run the SC on stock clutch and exhaust for the meantime? and other stock parts (oil pan, radiator, and other stuffs?)
I know of someone who was at 15,000+ miles and still going on an SC with no issues. I am at 6,000 and still going on a stock clutch with no issues but I don't launch the car. I mash the gas a lot when it is in gear and rolling, and it holds fine.
if you have any interest in one of the remaining roots kits (I think fairly cheap too) contact James at

Lower output will mean less stuff to upgrade. Go with a lower output first, like 7 psi, you'll feel it, and then figure where you want to go from there.
For 7 psi you won't need a new radiator, or thicker headgasket, or new clutch, if your stock clutch is good.
I would, however, recommend a standalone Engine Management.
Greddy Emanage Ultimate at the least. You can sell it later if you decide to upgrade.
