Default Stock Sleeves

I'm not looking to break any land speed record's at all with this car, I just want it reliable. Has anyone just put pistons/rod's in the motor and left the stock sleeves in there? I wanna make 450whp all day safely. Would some pauter rod's and some cp 9.0:1 comp piston's and oem honda bearing's do the trick? Anyone else running just piston's and rod's?

due to the FRM sleeves, the choice of pistons is rather limited! I'm not sure what you can buy that will be compatible with the stock sleeves!

That's another thing I was wondering, it's like the H22.

The piston I think is called a "slipper" style piston... does not fit as tightly against the cylinder walls, I think... I have heard a bunch of lower comp pistons will chew up the walls, as they are not meant to "slip" like OEM pistons...

This is all 2nd hand research... Its all in the tune. You can put 500 down on stock everything (see Mase's work). He claims the only the 600+wrhp pull was pushing the limits of the fuel system... I think the pull that was in the 470's could be replicated daily.... but again, could be wrong...

If you're not looking into breaking any records, you don't need to change anything.

**** correction, just read the part about you wanting 450whp.. well, add a headgasket. lol (originally thought u were going for 300 or so since you weren't lookin to set speed records )
